Boards & views
A board is a flexible spreadsheet/database hybrid: items in groups, columns of typed values, and a stack of views that read the same data different ways. Most of the work in Tudo flows through boards.
Items, groups and sub-items
An item is one row. Items belong to a group, which is a horizontal section with a colored header (e.g. To do · This week · Done). Items can have sub-items with their own columns and values; numeric / currency columns roll up to the parent.
Column types
Tudo supports the columns you'd expect from Monday or Notion plus a few of our own: Status, Single-select, Multi-select, Label, People, Date, Time-line, Numbers, Currency (per-cell currency picker), Decimal, Phone, Email, URL, Files, Connect-Boards, Formula, Color-palette, Country, and more.
The eight views
- Table — the default; full grid, inline edit, summaries.
- Kanban — group by Status / Single-select. Drag cards across columns.
- Calendar — drive from any Date or Date+time column. Recurring events with edit-this-vs-all-instances.
- Cards — gallery view with cover image + headline columns.
- Workload — utilization view across people and time.
- Files — every File-column attachment as a thumbnail grid.
- Form — public-link intake. New submissions land as items.
- Buttons — Notion-style tile homepage backed by a board.
Permissions
Tudo has a four-level permission stack: tenant role (owner / admin / member / commenter / viewer / guest), folder visibility (role-based or named-members), board-level access, and per-column hide/lock. Restrictions cascade — a folder hidden from guests hides every board inside it.
